As a leading UK food-to-go manufacturer, we accept accountability for our environmental footprint, from electricity usage and food waste to the entire supply chain.
This is not a paper exercise; it is operational change driven by innovation to achieve Net Zero through genuine reduction and not external offsetting!
We firmly believe offsetting is akin to throwing your rubbish into someone else’s garden, reduction is the only viable path.
We are constantly finding ways to close the loop on waste and take control of our ingredient sourcing.
Want to learn more? Our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions are available to our customers upon request.
Our commitment starts with our people and our processes right here in Chelmsford.
Smart People + Smart Process = Smart Factory S3: The S3 project embeds C02e footprint visibility into every product and process in real time. We are using gamification and incentivisation to drive down emissions and costs. Our transformative change aims to reduce energy consumption by 30% and food waste by 10%.
Project Scope: Our long running waste reduction strategy focuses on a weekly assessment of our top 40 materials. Allowing us to implement preventative action, which includes training, monitoring, and even new product development to maximise efficiency and minimise high C02e food waste.
We are tackling emissions head on with targeted projects that embody our values of Trust, Respect, and Care for the planet.
The S3 Project is our blueprint for the future of sustainable food manufacturing. As the only food-to-go business operating a fully integrated smart factory, our use of AI and on-site vertical farming significantly reduces waste and instantly cuts your Scope 3 emissions.
We believe in genuine operational reduction, not external offsetting. Through our S3 Smart Factory project, we track CO2 emissions in real-time and empower our entire team to actively minimise energy and waste, driving our ambitious commitment to achieve absolute Net Zero by 2030.
We are fiercely committed to removing single-use plastics from the food-to-go sector. We use FSC-certified cardboard and fully recyclable, plastic-free cellulose alternatives across our ranges, ensuring our products are as kind to the planet as they are delicious.
